Save Seeds Now! is a non-profit organization located in southwest Ohio dedicated to the promotion of sustainable agriculture (organic and non-organic) through educational activities in participatory plant breeding (PPB). Working directly with farmers and plant growers, these educational activities in PPB will promote local plant selection, breeding, and seed-saving, increased biodiversity of crop plants, and a more robust, agriculturally diverse food production system.
Save Seeds Now! was legally recognized on September 23, 2013 by the State of Ohio as a non-profit corporation. The next step is to achieve 501c3 (tax exempt) status with the Federal government, a process which is currently underway.
